Police have stated that individuals who failed to assist the 12-year-old rape survivor in Ujjain

According to a police officer cited by NDTV, individuals who witnessed the 12-year-old rape survivor in a distressed state, bleeding, and partially clothed on a Ujjain street in Madhya Pradesh and did not offer assistance may face potential charges under child sexual abuse laws. The girl sought help from nearby residences but was turned away. Additionally, the police have identified an auto-rickshaw driver who consciously chose not to inform the authorities.
